Thank You! We did it!

Dear Friends,

We did it! I am pleased to say that I prevailed and was re-elected to serve on the Three Rivers Park Board for District 2  on Tuesday night!

I won every precinct in ALL 5 cities (Brooklyn Park, Champlin, Dayton, Maple Grove & Osseo).  I received 71.04% of the total vote which equals 29,883 votes from all across the District.  To see the results, click here.

I would like to thank the Three Rivers Park community and my friends for their continued confidence and for the support I received from all across the district.  The experience of door-knocking and meeting with residents has been my favorite part of my re-election campaign.

HUGE thank you to all my volunteers, friends and supporters who helped me out reach to our entire district, friends who took time to lit drop precincts, put up & take down lawn signs, participated in phone banks and parades and donated their treasure.  I am forever grateful to my good friends who took the time to give me advice all along the way even when they were busy on campaigns themselves.

Finally, thank you to my husband Todd and my four children who lit dropped the entire district with me numerous times and spent countless hours on our re-election campaign.   Thank you to everyone!

Without all the volunteer hours, kind words and support I would not have been able to out reach to so many voters!  A huge effort and I am very grateful for all the support I have received!

A special thank you also goes to my opponent, John Skavnak.  Our community will surely benefit from the ideas that were shared and the discussions that were had regarding the future of our park system.

I am humbled by the outcome of the election and I am looking forward to continuing to serve my community as the Three Rivers Park Commissioner from District 2.

Thank you so very much, I am very grateful.

Best Regards,

Jennifer DeJournett

DeJournett Files for reelection to the Three Rivers Park Board!

DeJournettElectionDear Friends,

Two years ago, I was honored to be elected to serve on the Three Rivers Park Board.   I am grateful for the support I have received from the communities of Brooklyn Park, Champlin, Dayton, Maple Grove and Osseo.

I am asking for your support and vote so we can continue the work that we began during my first term on the Park Board.  I plan to continue to bring the perspective of our community to the table as the board makes decisions that affect us all.  I will continue to be a good steward of your hard-earned dollar and continue to work towards transparent Park District operations.

I will bring my energetic, approachable leadership style to the role and make sure I’m always available to my community.  As a mom of four young kids, I know it is important to our families that our parks are safe, well maintained, and sustained for the future.

It is important that we continue to provide opportunities to all families with quality programming that will appeal to everyone from age 1 to 90+.  I am looking forward to continuing to serve you on the Three Rivers Park Board.

Please feel free to contact me at JenDeJournett@gmail.com, phone (763-200-1358) or by mail if I can be of any assistance to you or your family or if you would like to volunteer for my reelection campaign.   I look forward to hearing from you!

Best Regards,
